To adopt a healthier diet, think about the Jain Diet. This may sound more complicated than most other diets. Still, it’s very effective if you want to lose weight and improve your health.

You need to know a few things before going on this diet. What is the Jain Diet? How does it work? What are the benefits? And what are the disadvantages? Let’s answer these questions one at a time, starting with an overview of the diet.

What is the Jain Diet?

Jainism is a religion that is based on the principles of nonviolence and non-absolutism. Many Jains are strict vegetarians, but some eat meat occasionally.

They believe in ahimsa, which means “nonviolence.” They don’t kill animals or even cause them to suffer.

They do not eat food left overnight because it may contain micro-organisms that have begun to grow in it, which would make you sick if they’re eaten.

This means they will only eat fresh food (bread, fruits, vegetables) and don’t have any dairy products such as milk or cheese (except for yogurt).
