It may seem that only one thing is stopping you from doing so — Your Diet. But if you’ve been trying to lose weight but keep failing, it may be time to look at other factors affecting your results. In this post, we’ll go over how a Buddhist diet can help you shed those stubborn pounds for good- and what exactly being Buddhist entails!

First things first: You don’t have to become Buddhist or convert to Buddhism to follow a Buddhist Diet. A Buddhist Diet is made for people who would like fewer animal products/meat and dairy, or for vegetarians looking for guidance on eating healthy. The idea behind a Buddhist diet is simple, If we’re trying to live harmoniously with our bodies, then we should eat beneficial foods that will make us feel healthy and energetic.

What Is a Buddhist Diet?

A Buddhist diet is a diet that follows the Buddhist way of life. Buddhists believe in nonviolence, kindness, and compassion for all beings. The idea behind this is that you must be mindful of what you eat because some foods are taken from other living creatures who may also feel fear or pain when killed for food.
