My best friend always struggled with staying healthy. He usually ate junk food, which led to his deteriorating health. His concentration abilities were also terrible due to lack of sleep, which led to him being fired from his previous job, where he worked long hours. This was a wake-up call for my best friend and the realization that things weren’t going well. One of his first steps was adopting healthier habits like eating more vegetables while exercising more frequently. Slowly but surely, my best friend got his life back on track after making many changes to achieve happiness once again.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. In fact, it’s almost impossible to have one without the other. Mental health goes beyond the absence of a diagnosed mental illness. It includes feeling happy and content in one’s own skin, tackling life’s challenges with vigor, and overcoming them when they arise.
